Responsible Trading and Betting

At CityOdds we believe in providing a secure and protected environment within which to trade, bet and be entertained responsibly. It is an important part of our overall customer care service.

Trading or betting in a protected environment should be an exciting and pleasurable experience, for adults. We want you to enjoy the CityOdds experience, so please bet wisely and within your budget. Never trade with funds you are not able to lose and do not trade with borrowed funds.

Underage Trading and Betting

CityOdds believes in providing a protected environment, it is recognized that trading and betting on the financial markets is an exciting adult leisure pursuit. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to trade or make any bets with CityOdds Ltd. We reserve the right to ask for verification documents from any customer and may suspend an account until such proof is received.

Please note that anyone under the age of 18 found to be trading or betting with CityOdds will have any winnings forfeited.

Filtering Systems

If you share your computer with Pioneer or family who are under the legal age to register or bet, please click on the link to register with our preferred filtering partner http://www.icra.org/parents/.

There are a number of other third party applications that parents or guardians can use to monitor or restrict the use of their computer's access to the Internet :

Self-exclusion or Opt-out

On request, CityOdds will close any customer's account or accounts for a period of 6 months during which time it will not be possible for the account(s) to be re-opened for any reason. During the period of opt-out, CityOdds will do all it can to prevent new accounts being re-opened. An account that is simply 'closed' can be re-opened by the customer at any time. To use our self exclusion option, email us help@CityOdds.com with details of all the accounts you have opened with us. CityOdds will provide means to self-exclude for a period of up to five years.

All our customer service staff receive awareness training on problem gambling issues.

Customer History and Balance

Customers can easily access a full history of their transactions, withdrawals and deposits by clicking on the “Account” tab at the top of the Trading Platform. The previous week’s trading can be found. Please contact CityOdds Ltd for a complete historical trading record. CityOdds Ltd will make available your trading history in a .csv file format and will send this to your designated e-mail address.

A customer's balance is always available through the “Account” tab on the Trading Platform page.

Citizens Advice Helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice from nearly 3,400 locations, and by influencing policymakers.

GamAid An online help service for those affected by problem gambling. This service provides links to sources of available help and allows users to email counselors or chat with them online about their own problems or the problems of Pioneer and relatives.

Gam-Anon

Gamstop Gamstop helps prevent gambling sites running on your PC. Once downloaded, users will be directed to the GamStop website when trying to access a gambling website. The GamStop website also provides advice to people who have problems controlling their gambling
